About

My name is Mike Weaver, and welcome to the MADMike blog.  Here I focus on Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (MAD) and the impacts on the Office 365 ecosystem.  I will also cover all sorts of Microsoft & Office 365 content and issues impacting our space.

I have spent my entire career focusing on this niche space.  As a technologist there will be a Tech focus, but Technology is only part of the problem and solutions.  We will dive into the Human side of this difficult business and hopefully provide guidance into this space.  Hopefully this blog will provide you with helpful tips, both technical and non-technical.  The goal will be for all of us to use this space to have MAD projects that complete with a higher level of success.

As time permits I’ll also add to the sanity section.  This area will likely have some rants, pictures of puppies, talk about the ex-pat life, recipes and other passions I have to try to keep sane.

I was awarded a Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) award in the Office Apps & Services category in October of 2021.  I am very proud of this and so grateful for the support to achieve this.  Should you like to collaborate on a topic, don’t hesitate to contact me here:   https://madmike.net/contact/

Equality & Inclusion Statement

Diversity in thought comes from an inclusive and supportive community.    The best teams & experiences in my life have been working and learning with groups that embrace and support each other.

I have been part of Employee Resources Groups, even leading a PRIDE ERG for a bit.  I am not a perfect human, but I strive to listen, understand and support everyone in my life to be the best person they can be.  I am a loud advocate when called upon.

You will see content from time to time to support these causes.  If there is something you would like to collaborate on or discuss, I am quite happy and passionate about discussing these topics.

Rules of The Road:

If you don’t agree with something, challenge me!  We all can have a different opinion, perspective and experience.  Sometimes something could be really unclear or I am just off base.  If you have an issue with something, you are not the only one.  I’m happy to make changes or amend articles or have a lively debate.

Comments must be appropriate or will be removed.
